Boating East Magazine is a FREE travel resource for boaters. Published annually since 1982, Boating East is distributed along the St. Lawrence River from Trenton to Cornwall, the length of the Trent-Severn Waterway, the Rideau Canal from Kingston to Ottawa, along the Ottawa River from New Liskeard to Montreal and in the United States from Sackets Harbor to Ogdensburg.

In 2007 editorial highlighted the 175th anniversary of the Rideau Canal. 2008 will see an expanded Trent-Severn Waterway section.

In 2006 approximately 20,000 magazines were distributed at marinas, lock stations, information centres and through participating advertisers.

Formerly published by Marble Rock Publishing, Boating East Magazine (Cruising and Vacation Guide) is now part of the Ontario Travel Guides family of publications.
